On Tuesday night I learnt me how to give an injection to a dog! My folks are away this weekend so I am in charge of not letting their half blind, hoarse, diabetic, smelly old spaniel die. This means injecting him every 12 hours and administering special amounts of food periodically.
(I love him really, apart from when he farts/slobbers on me.)
Anyway, it was lots of fun and I got to tap at the needle first like in Casualty to check for air bubbles. You can kill someone like that you know if there are air bubbles. I remember it from a Christopher Pike book.
In other news, Nick is off to Budapest tonight for this stag weekend, complete with his still swollen knee! He has an elastic bandage thing to wrap around it. And I had three people compliment me on my Warehouse coat yesterday when I wore it. Money well spent then!
