My First Birthday

I've been blogging for a year! I surely deserve this rather pixillated Sponebob Squarepants birthday cake.

In other me-related news. I am going to my Dad's for spag bol tonight, mmmmmm. He makes it so well. And I have treated myself to 2 things from Amazon today, the new Scissor Sisters CD (I know I can get it free on their myspace but I love them and I want a proper tangible object to fondle!) and also the old feature length Heman/Shera film, 'The Secret of the Sword'. Anyone wanted to disown me now may do so freely. But I love it and I don't care. I've wanted it for ages. Have also been thinking about getting some Monty Python box sets as they are so so good but its a bit of an unjustifiable expense. We'll see.

I'm also getting my wild hair tamed on Saturday, a good old chop and colour job, haven't been since before the wedding at the start of July so its allowed. I spent a depressing lunch hour feeling hideous in Monsoon yesterday sqeezing into dresses and having to wrestle them off again in the changing rooms so I need a boost. Since going to the gym I think I have put ON weight. Not fair. I haven't got an outfit yet for James & Donna's wedding in less than a months time. Well, I have my new Warehouse coat but at the moment I'll be wearing that and nothing else. Which could work if it was a fetish themed wedding but I think her family's Roman Catholic.

Nicks knee is still sore and he's off to Budapest on Thursday night for a stag weekend (the same guys whose wedding we're off to) .... Oh dearie me.
