Mammouth Journey

So, I've booked flights for next month and I'm off to my friends wedding. She is getting married on 25th Feb in Worksop, we're flying over to Southampton then borrowing a car from Nick's Mum & Dad and we're going to drive up. It looks like its kind of near Leeds/Sheffield and on the AA routeplanner it looks about 4 hours but you know what traffic is like. Hopefully it will take us about half a day.

If we can borrow Nicks Dads work car that would be so cool cos its a really plush jag and I'll feel like a yuppie. I can wear shades and yak on the mobile while Nick feeds me seedless grapes as we drive up. Just kidding. But it is the kind of car you get funny looks in becuase you're quite young and its a real old mans exec car (no offence Tony).

In other news, I found a pile of dried up cat sick that has obviously been around a few days, I just hadn't noticed it. So I have to clear that up tonight. I noticed it yesterday but figured another day wouldn't hurt. I also have a load of boring chores to do like ironing (but at least I can watch Buffy at the same time) and I have to see my cousin to give her the birthday present and we're really overdrawn in the joint account. Such is my life.

The front page of the Guernsey Press was just stupid today. The headline story is that a child pointed a toy gun at an old person in the town library and the old person got pissed off. Basically. So not a lot going on in Guernsey then.

Chinese stirfry tonight I think and I have to go becuase apparentely I have to be at a viewing 5 minutes ago.
