Not long until the weekend

I'm hoping its going to be good weather, otherwise we are going to have a house full of visitors all sleeping on the floors/sofas.

Mind you, camping in the rain is quite good fun. And you always manage to have a laugh in Herm, it's just that sort of place. It's Nick's 30th Birthday today, we are both working today but are out tonight for a meal with quite a few friends, as a precurser to the weekend's celebrations! And last night we had Chris, Sonia & my Dad around for champagne - how very!! Quite delightful I tell thee. One is going up in the world.

Molly had a complete freak out last night and kept me awake, it was just as I was in bed trying to nod off when I heard the most awful scared howling from the hallway. I rushed out and there was Molly with her tail fluffed up like a big black squirrel all hissy & jumpy and staring at the alcove under the stairs as if the devil himself was hiding there. We have a bunch of junk piled up under the desk there so I had to get down on hands and knees and check it all out, I must admit I was a little bit scared incase there was another cat/huge spider/toad/demon monster lurking there but I couldn't see anything. She really wouldn't calm down so I just went back to bed in the end. Later on there was more cat screaming coming from the garden and again I had to jump out of bed and check it out and this time there was another cat in the garden. It scarpered when it saw me. So I hopefully don't have a ghost/demon spawn living under the stairs.

I had a crazy viewing the other day, in fact the lady selling the property was crazy, completely and utterly. She insisted on being at home and watching us as I showed the poor unsuspecting purchaser around. I thought we had got away with it and were just about to leave when she stopped us and started a rant about dog poo. A big rant about poo being wiped into a persons sink, that is not what you need when trying to conduct a viewing.

Ah well back to work I guess, my boss's wife brought me a jar of her homemade strawberry jam today. I have three viewings this afty but my morning one has cancelled hence me being here writing this.
