Hello what what. I am feeling much better, I know I haven't blogged for a week or so, so here goes...
I have been to the UK again, Southampton, Winchester and Guildford to be precise, for a lovely lovely wedding in Clandon Park, Guildford. Seonaid married Lex in a fantastic country house setting and practically my whole class from 6th form were there. So it was a brilliant brilliant day and then the next morning we woke up to a Winter Wonderland!! Snow had covered the countryside and as we drove back to Southampton from Guildford we couldn't get over how pretty and Chrismassy everything looked. We had given a lift to Sid & Alice and we ended up stopping in Winchester for a cup of coffee at the Wyckham Arms, a pub I think I may have mentioned before as being just awesome. The Cathedral was open and free as it was a Sunday so we also had a little look around and looked at the grave of Jane Austen.
We arrived back in Guernsey on Sunday and immediately moved our belongings from our mates house at Perelle to the flat in town that we are now living in for the next 3 weeks. It belongs to a good friend who is travelling in Oz this month and she has kindly let us have her home for that time. Anyway the flat is super amazing, incrediably high-tech and there are a bunch of stuff that we could break. Touch wood, so far we haven't broken anything so far. It's all underfloor heating, high ceilings and Bose sound systems, it's really really gorgeous and has a big balcony. So we haven't done too badly for our last few weeks on the rock!
I have been training up a new girl who will take over from me when I finally leave in a couple of weeks time. So it's been a very very busy week that has flown by. We've done three take-ons, including on her very first morning a coastal property for 1.45 million! Nice.
On Wed night we went to Christies for a meal then drinks afterwards with Sue, Laurie, Fran, Rachel, James, Toki, Claire Sims, Ant & Gareth. It's hardly ever that us girls all get the chance to get together and it was a really great night. Lots of tomfoolery. I think I'm just going to stay in tonight and catch up on Skins (I missed the last few!) as I have to work tomorrow, boooo. Actually, it could be my last ever Saturday here so not booooo, but woooooo!!
