Whither oh art thou you fine flaxen hardback
I waitest and waitest to hear the sound of your arrival
Come thither! And I shalt open thouest covers
and plunge myself truely into the depths of your fresh bounteous story!
1) I stayed up late last night to finish Half Blood Prince
2) It made my cry, again, even though I knew how it ended and had tried to emotionally prepare myself beforehand
3) I have the book arriving from Amazon today
4) I am stuck at work until 1pm so I have no idea if it has arrived at home yet
5) My boss' wife called and hers turned up on the doormat at 8:45 this morning, from Amazon. I was still at home then and mine hadn't arrived.
What if mine doesn't arrive today?? I have cleared the whole afternoon and the entire day tomorrow to devote myself to it. If I don't get it I might cry. I am studiously avoiding all media related websites, or any mention of HP on the telly/radio that might give the plot lines away. I will be so upset if I find out what happens before reading it myself.
If it doesn't arrive I will read some more of my 'Soul of the Fire' book by Terry Goodkind that has been scaring me with its plotlines of evil chickens. I never knew chickens could be terrifyingly scary until I read this book.
