Blogging for no Reason

I say that because I don't really have much in the way of news, but I think it is bad to not blog so I would rather ramble on about nothing than say nothing. If you get my drift.

So.

At the moment I have tide marks on my boots from being out in the continual downpour that is Guernsey weather today. I popped into town for my cheap xmas stamps and the queue in the post office was horrifique. Everyone had the same idea as me, clearly. I also managed to buy some xmas cards so I will start writing, and hopefully finish writing, tonight.

At the weekend we did not make it over to Jersey, which I was very happy about as I had not a thing to wear and I got lots of shopping done here amonst the evil hoards of town. We also bought and decorated our tree, and put pretty outside lights on the balcony and in the garden. Whilst in the garden Nick discovered that Molly is not burying her human-sized-cat-turds in the flower border anymore but just laying them on the grass lawn. I think it is because the garden is all muddy and she thinks it is one big litter tray, but it is very disgusting and I will have to go out and remove them at some point. And also try to train her to go back to her old poo-zone.

We discovered the delights of Wok Wok on Saturday and feasted on their lunchtime fiver deal, (which was amazingly good value, DO go) and on Sunday we went for cheeseburgers at the Red Onion and coffees at the Swan Inn, which has gone all country pub like with a big roaring fire. Lovely. So we have done lots of eating this weekend, and I didn't make it to the gym. I will have to go tonight I guess, out of guilt.

Our house is all Christmassy and I can't wait to get home. Nick is finally back at work today after a week off, his shingles have receded like the shingle on a beach.

I have decided if I die and come back as another creature I want to be a Whale shark.
