Handbags at Dawn

I found myself being stopped in a supermarket carpark today by a well dressed, cheerful lady. She asked me what 'season' my handbag was from, because she liked the colour and wanted to get one for her daughter. We then had a lovely chat about how old my bag was and how it compares favourably in size to the Chloe Paddington.

Sometimes I really love Guernsey people.

PS I haven't got a clue what season my bag is from. At a guess I would say Autumn, because it is brown. And I still really want the Chloe Betty that I almost bought in Thailand but didn't and then went back the next day and it was gone.

I am feeling quite chirpy about Christmas, as I have completed a fair amount of my shopping. That is, I have got all the main presents, bar a couple of difficult people, and it is still only November. I have to get it finished early this year as we having people over to stay. I have many many food concerns. I am excited though!

And tonight, Miss Moneypenny, I am off to see Casino Royale. My hair is very greasy so I hope I don't see anyone that I know there. (I will see my Dad, who is also coming, but it doesn't matter if my hair is greasy because, lets face it, he's seen far worse over the years in his time being my parent.)

I haven't spoken about Molly for a while. She is fine, and when my Dad saw her the other day remarked on how she seems to be getting fat. It may just be her Winter coat but she does seem more bulky, which is fantastic as she always has been a skinny little runt cat.

Casino Royale is SUPERB! You will enjoy it very much. Although I am glad I no longer have to watch films in the Mallard - na na na naaaa na! I get to watch films in Ocean Terminal instead, right by the Royal Yacht Britannia :-P

Ha ha, yes I know it is pants. But I am a sucker and keep going back for more.

PS. They do sell Hershey bars you know.

PPS. You have over hyped the film now! If it is not brilliant I will be very disappointed.

Don't worry about the food babe it's a case of shoving in the turkey and leaving it and doing some veggies - and buying the puddings! - we will do lots of cooking when we are over or eat out as it's a holiday for everyone isn't it x Suz x
